Tap Share in Safari

Open this menu in Safari (not Chrome or Instagram). Tap the Share button — a square with an arrow pointing up — in the toolbar at the bottom of the screen.

Tap Add to Home Screen

In the share sheet, scroll down if needed, then tap Add to Home Screen.

Tap Add

Check the name, then tap Add in the top right.

Open the icon, then subscribe

Leave Safari and open from your Home Screen. Tap Get menu alerts from that icon — Safari in a tab cannot enable them.
